Custom pool builds for Scottsdale, Arizona.

One city, a dozen distinct neighborhoods.
Scottsdale isn’t one market. It’s a dozen distinct neighborhoods, each with its own design review process, soil profile, and lot character. A pool in Silverleaf isn’t engineered the same way as one in Old Town, and the HOA submittal for Desert Mountain looks nothing like the package McCormick Ranch expects.
We design and build across all of Scottsdale, and we plan around the local realities upfront: the architectural review committees, the City of Scottsdale permit process, the rocky caliche soils common in the north, the mature trees and tighter lots in central neighborhoods, and the refined design expectations that come with the Scottsdale market.
You’ll work with the same family-owned team from first conversation to first swim. No rotating sales department, no surprise upgrades.

what homeowners ask
Can you work around mature trees on older Scottsdale lots?
Absolutely. Old Town and central Scottsdale lots often come with mature landscape worth protecting. We plan access, excavation, and equipment paths around what you want to keep, and design the pool to complement existing trees rather than fight them.
Do you handle HOA approvals in communities like Troon, DC Ranch, and Silverleaf?
Yes. We prepare and submit architectural review packages for every major Scottsdale HOA, including Troon, DC Ranch, Silverleaf, Desert Mountain, McCormick Ranch, and Grayhawk. We've been through each committee's process and know what they expect.
Does building in North Scottsdale’s rocky soil cost extra?
Hitting caliche is common in North Scottsdale, and we account for it upfront in the proposal based on soil conditions in your specific neighborhood. You won't see a surprise "rock removal" change order mid-excavation.
How long does the City of Scottsdale permit process take?
City of Scottsdale typically takes 3 to 5 weeks for a custom pool permit, depending on review backlog and any HOA approval running in parallel. We build this into our standard week 3 to 5 engineering and permits phase.
When is the best time to start a pool build in Scottsdale?
Fall and early winter are ideal start dates. Excavation and shotcrete cure best in cooler temperatures, and a fall start typically means a finished pool ready for the following summer. We build year-round, but timing your start can shorten the active build window.
